My car was passing by the entrance of the office when I saw both my sisters 'wrestling' vigorously with a bum.

I wasn't surprised, however, even recording a video of it and sending it to the biggest news outlet of the country, saying, "I want it seen across the world before 7pm."

After all, in my last life, those two sisters were so keen to please Harold Langford that they allowed him to steal my birthright all he wanted.

I bore with it because they were family, and ended up resting in pieces.

But now that I had a second chance, I would return the favor.

At the company gala, Harold once again took my seat as he snorted at me haughtily. "Hmph! If Ellie and Jennie didn't insist on showing you how the world works, a poor college student like you wouldn't even make it through the front door!"

"Know your place and don't cause me trouble, or they will have you beaten to a pulp!"

Seeing that he was still running his mouth, I kicked him three feet away as I chuckled. "Who do you think you are? How dare you strut when you're just a gigolo who only knows how to please hags!"

My insolent retaliation had drawn everyone's attention.

Still, Ellie immediately rushed to Harold's side, while Jennie promptly slapped me twice.

They were my sisters, but seeing me launch their beloved gigolo with a kick broke their heart, and were at once glaring at me furiously.

"James Langford! How dare you hurt our baby brother!"

Despite their threats, all I felt was regret—how stupid could I be that I used to fantasize them seeing me as family?

I pointed at Harold as they clung to him, dissing out loud, "He's just a gigolo, while I am the heir to Skymex Group and the biological grandson of Miles Langford. And you're trying to claim that I have no right?"

At once embarrassed and furious, Ellie leapt up and shoved me to the floor, bellowing, "Watch your mouth! Harold's the one who's been kind enough to sponsor your education! Everyone here, listen up! Harold is the real grandson of Miles Langford, and the only heir of Skymex Group!"

My eyes widened in disbelief as I looked at Ellie in turn. "Him? the real grandson of Miles Langford, and the only heir of Skymex Group? When did you find the audacity and spout such barefaced lies?"

That was when Jennie had an idea and leered at me in disdain, "Did you forget your meds again? Are you having another episode?"

And behind them, Harold started to choke with tears. "It's all my fault. I knew James was crazy, but I had to bring him here…"

Everyone around them were leering at me in disdain right then, as they clearly heard how that trio twisted the facts.

Some of them were even scoffing loudly.

"So James is just some bum sponsored by Harold? That explains that bum getup."

"Oh, Harold is just so kind! I'm telling you, no one else would sponsor a nutjob like him!"

Ellie even beckoned for the company secretary, snapping, "Get this man out of here. From now on, he must never be allowed in the offices of Skymex Group without my approval!"

However, I turned toward him too. "You've been working for my mother for the longest time, Mr. Zimmer. Or are you not sure who's actually the grandson of Miles Langford here?"

Mr. Zimmer stopped in his tracks, freezing up. "Well, I…"

Jennie shot him an annoyed glare right then. "My sister is the heir to this company! And you're going against her orders?! Perhaps you rather pack your things and leave?!"

Mr. Zimmer paled in fear right then, and glanced at me gingerly, "Please, Mr. Langford—I have a family to feed, so please just leave and don't make this any harder for me."

Though he gestured for security to drag me outside, I picked up a vase from the table and threw it at them as they closed in. "Come on, just try me! I'm not just Miles Langford's grandson—I am the rightful heir of Skymex!"
