Chapter 1
After the college entrance exams, I was competing for admission to major schools with a score of 748.
When filling out the application, my parents, who had always encouraged me to go to Ivy League schools, suddenly changed their minds.
They all advised me to give up my domestic university and to pay to send me abroad to study for gold.
Dad said: He makes money to give me a better future, he's doing it for my own good!
However, on the day the appointment was made for the commercial vehicle to pick me up, my mom backed out again and even blocked the door to keep me out.
"Eleanor, we're not going to study abroad, so you can stay with mom, okay?"
My dad, who was always quiet, slapped my mom in the face.
"What are you fooling around for? Don't stand in the way of my daughter's good fortune!"
I was taken aback, but then I saw my mom launch into a frenzy, wanting to rip my dad apart.
"You're not even human, you're just trying to get my age killed......"
"Daughter, mom is born again, you can't go abroad, that plane will fall and you'll die! You can't go!"
My father is not willing to show weakness, "Don't turn black and white, in your last life you were the one who prevented your daughter from running to her future, and as a result, she was depressed and had no ambition and passed away with regrets!"
I didn't step forward to dissuade them as I watched them tear apart.
Just sneered, turned and flung the door to his room shut.
None of them knew that I was actually reborn.
In this life, no one will ever lie to me again!
Just now, I was reborn!
It was only when I pulled open the door and my formerly doting mom and dad told the same lies as in my last life that I finally woke up to the fact that this wasn't a dream!
I leaned against the door of my room, the hardness rushing throughout my chest for a long time.
My mom's soft laugh of triumph came from the door, "See, my daughter still listens to me."
My dad grunted, "Don't you regret it!"
Whether they will regret it or not I don't know, but I do know that I will regret it if I continue to stay here.
I reorganized the contents of my suitcase, even my backpack was carefully picked over.
Pulling open the door to her room again, my mom's smug smile froze on her face before she had a chance to put it away.
"Eleanor, why are you dragging your bags out again?"
I ignored it, my eyes crossing over to her indifferently cast on my dad's face.
"I've already lost my chance to go to college, I'm not going to lose my chance to go abroad."
My dad's fingers clasping his cigarette lurched, and he hastily pressed it out in the ashtray, getting up and smiling as he walked toward me.
"Good for you, I knew my daughter wasn't a pussy."
He dragged my suitcase across the room and headed out the door, not forgetting to glance at my mom smugly as he passed her.
My mom's mouth dropped and she reached for me.
"Baby, even if you don't believe mom's words, aren't you afraid of what if? Mom really can't lose you.
I sneered and peeled her hand away, "Stay home and marry mediocre, you'll lose me just the same."
"Rather than live and die, I'd rather the accident take me away."
My mom's face suddenly went cold and she held out her hand at me.
"Fine, since you're going to listen to your dad, give me back the cell phone I bought you, or else you're not coming out of this house."
After a moment's hesitation, I pulled my new fruit-branded cell phone out of my pocket and put it in her hand, lifted my foot and walked away.
She gave me a surprised look, but didn't stop me, only whispering, "Pity!" as I stepped out of the house.
In stark contrast to my mom, my dad smiled all the way through.
The business car was parked downstairs and my dad greeted people with a smile.
I pulled right out of the car, same as in my last life, five girls!
With a casual glance, his eyes settled on the girl in the back of the cab.
Chapter 2
"Let's switch places."
The girl gave me a blank look, "Why? You can change it whenever you want, who are you?"
Before we could argue, my dad's head came through the car door.
"Just because my daughter is a high school senior, she can sit wherever she wants!"
The girl tried to talk back, and the man sitting in the passenger side glared at her before she reluctantly got up and went to the back.
The driver made some more small talk with my dad and got in the car and slammed the door shut with a 'bang'.
He glances at me in the rearview mirror as he buckles his seatbelt.
"A top student in the college entrance exam? The little girl is very capable!"
I didn't say anything until they pulled off the road and I spoke meaningfully.
"Not as good as my mom."
"My mom said it's a rough day on the road, even this plane we're catching today is going to crash."
The driver and the co-pilot man's faces flushed at the same time, and the driver was heard to giggle, "Your mom's a prophet, huh?"
I laugh, "No, my mom says she's born again!"
The car was full of people who laughed, except for the man in the passenger seat who was unperturbed.
The driver laughed for a while and said, "The little girl's got a sense of humor."
I glanced at the dragon and tiger totem on his arm and cast my eyes out the window.
"Boom."
The sky, which had been cloudless a moment ago, was now dark.
The rain was coming down in torrents and we were now the only car left on the entire highway.
The atmosphere in the car grew stagnant, and uneasiness clouded everyone's mind.
I pointed to the mountain road not far away and advised the driver, "Uncle, stop on this stretch of road first, it's raining so hard, beware of landslides."
Instead of listening, the driver switched to one-handed driving with a playful look on his face.
"Little girl don't worry about it, this road uncle has run for I don't know how many times, even if it rains heavily there is no trouble, tamping very much."
As soon as he spoke, the road ahead was paved with some gravel that had obviously fallen from the hillside.
A girl spoke up in fear, "Why don't we? Why don't we go around? This looks really......"
"It's raining hard and bringing some rocks down from the mountains scares you guys like that? See less."
The girl I switched seats with interrupted her unhappily, sweeping a very irritated glance at me in the process.
"Snort~ Winks man."
I pretended not to hear, only to suddenly reach out and grab the driver's shoulder as the car was about to pass a tree and yell, "Stop the car."
The driver was startled and slammed on the brakes.
At the same time, a bolt of lightning struck a nearby tree, which snapped and fell in front of the car.
The driver looked at the man in the passenger seat in shock and was about to ask me something when the girl in the car burst into tears.
"Uncle, I don't want to leave the country, will you call my parents for me and ask them to come pick me up?"
"Uncle, I don't want to go either, change the day, there's still time for school to start, there's no rush today, the fare won't be less for you."
"Shut up."
The frightened driver was no longer in a good mood, and with a roar, the car immediately fell silent, leaving only the sound of sobbing.
He didn't have the heart to ask me again, he winked at the man in the passenger seat, and the two of them got out of the car in the pouring rain to move the tree.
At this point, there were also people who sensed something was wrong and whispered, "Why is this driver so mean?"
No one answered her question, as the driver returned quickly.
Seeing that the atmosphere in the car was even more dreary than before, the driver smiled and took out a couple of drinks from the reserve box and handed them over.
"Okay, okay, just now uncle was in a hurry, don't be afraid, this part of the road will be over soon, it will be fine."
Chapter 3
"Here, uncle buys you drinks."
My fingers trembled as I looked at the drink that was handed to me, and I managed to catch it.
As she handed it back, the girl behind her reached for it.
I purposely let go of my hand before she could catch it, letting the drink fall right to the bottom of my foot.
She looked over angrily, and I quirked my mouth at her provocatively.
In the next moment, her slap came face to face with me.
"Little bitch, I'll tear you apart."
I'm not a vegetarian when it comes to taking a beating, so I just slammed the rest of the drink in my hand on her.
I was about to get it on when the man on the passenger side tugged on the back of my collar.
"Sit down, all of you, what's the commotion?"
The car stopped again and the driver blacked out, pointing at me, "You, switch places with the passenger."
As the passenger pulls away, I indignantly kick my drink two bottles away.
The drink rolled down the hill with a grunt down the highway.
"All right, all right."
The man on the passenger side collected all the drinks on the floor and frowned at me.
I got out of the car and then flew up to the passenger side.
The driver gave me a smirking look, "Why the fight?"
Before I could say anything, the girl in the back row snitched, "She dropped the water on the floor on purpose."
"Yes?"
The driver locked the doors, a few danger signals in his tone.
"Yes."
I graciously admitted, meeting the driver's eyes.
"That's because she scolded me."
"When did I scold you?"
The girl jumped up in defiance.
I leaned back into the back of the passenger seat without a care in the world.
"You called me a pandering man, and they all heard you."
The girl rested her fire, but still muttered a little defiantly.
"Isn't it? You were the only one talking the whole time we got in the car, Conspicuous Package."
"Sit down."
The driver rubbed his brow with a headache, "Can't you girls get along?"
"Sit down, all of you, and from now on, no one will argue."
I scanned the time on the display, eight-forty.
Just in time!
The car drove into the city and soon drove into Kingsbury Road.
The green light was blinking and the driver sped up the gas.
"Uncle, let's slow down!"
I grabbed the handrail above my head in fear, my eyes glued to the time on the display.
The driver was oblivious, holding the gas steady.
......
Here we go!
A sports car whistled shrilly as it came over the side.
I glanced at the school bus full of kids on the back side and lunged over to push and turn the steering wheel.
The driver, who had intended to accelerate out of the way, collided head-on with the sports car when I interfered.
The front of the car was jacked up and nearly overturned.
My brain buzzed and I gasped for air until the sounds around me became clearer.
I looked over to the driver's side, where the driver was slumped over the steering wheel, unmoving, blood dripping from the airbag.
And the cries grew behind them.
The silent man held his head, obviously still in shock.
I carefully moved to the door.
It's nice that the door still opens.
The next moment, I jumped out of the car, pulled open the door behind me, and kicked the man in the crotch.
The man covered his crotch and twisted and rolled on the floor of the wagon.
The remaining five girls were dumbfounded by my ruthlessness.
The girl who changed seats pointed at me, "What are you doing? You're hurting people on purpose, okay?"
I gave her a sneer, "A word of advice, these two are not good people, you have two choices now, either run, or stay and wait for the police, but it's hard to say if you'll be able to wait for the police."
