A Wild Experiment

My boss, Jared Princeton, sends me a contract and tells me that I can only clock out of work if I sign it.

I only realize that the contract is The Devil's Contract, binding him and me together in a master-servant relationship, after I sign my initials on it.

Just as I prepare to run, Jared appears right behind me and binds me with his Devil tail.

That day was another one of those crazy, busy days at the office.

I was rushing to get off work when I received an extremely urgent email from my usually cold and arrogant boss, Jared Princeton.

Just as I was about to dismiss the email, Jared called and began pressing me to settle the issue immediately.

Fine. I was only going to do it because he was the one who paid for my payroll, nothing more.

I angrily booted up my computer again and stared at the email. I didn't know what kind of contract had been attached to it, but there were so many words that I didn't even want to read it.

"Then just write down both your names and mine, and it's all done," Jared said, still on the line with me.

I immediately scrolled to the final page of the document and filled in the blanks as quickly as I could.

Suddenly, Jared began to chuckle under his breath. I genuinely still couldn't understand how his temperament could change so easily like that.

All of a sudden, my computer shook violently, and its screen turned pink.

Then, I heard a robotic female voice say, "Congratulations on completing the contract mission! You have successfully formed a bond with your target. Kindly ensure that you diligently carry out all of his orders, or you will be given punishments accordingly."

What?!

I broke into a cold sweat and slowly lifted my head to look at the screen.

The contract that I had just filled in was displayed on the pink screen. However, this time, the words had been translated into Zinglish, a language I understood, and it was only then that I learned what kind of contract I had just signed.

The title read, "The Devil's Contract", and Jared's name was listed as the "master", while my name was listed as the "servant".

What kind of new computer virus was this? And why on earth had Jared stooped so low to send an infected link to my computer?

I didn't even have time to worry about the contents of the supposed contract I had just signed because I was worried to death that this virus would erase the report I had spent hours of overtime writing.

I immediately rushed toward the power source and pulled the plug right out. Then, I pretended not to have seen the document earlier and convinced myself that nothing had happened as I packed up even more quickly than before and tried to leave the office.

I planned to ask for a day off tomorrow. I had to have been so exhausted to hallucinate a scene like that.

However, I never thought that I wouldn't even be able to make it out of the office.

As soon as I pushed the doors open, I was shocked to see Jared standing there, staring at me so intensely that it sent a shiver down my spine. I stumbled backward and fell on my butt.

"Why are you so scared of me, Rory Lewis?" Jared asked. With a teasing grin on his lips, he crouched over me, caging me against the floor.

"I'm not… Mr. Princeton, p-please stop pulling my leg…"

Wasn't that just a scam document? So why was Jared acting so strangely toward me now?

"Didn't you sign the contract yourself?" Jared asked, leaning forward and hooking his fingers under my necktie as his gaze swept over my body. "It's too late to regret it now."

He then used his hands to close my eyelids gently. "Be good and listen to me now. Like now…"

As Jared trailed off, I suddenly felt something happening to my body.
