She's Gone With Their Daughter And Never Returns

Carly, the Queen of the Luminous Hive, is secretly a brilliant genetic-modification specialist who has spent years being overlooked and mistreated by her husband, Hakim, the Bee King. After a devastating hive fire, Hakim abandons Carly and their daughter Lily to save Elinda and her daughter Chloe, even taking away Lily’s only chance for wing-regeneration surgery. Heartbroken, Carly files for divorce, takes custody of Lily, and leaves for the Aura Swarm, where she rebuilds her life and returns to the peak of her career. With the support of Blace and Augustus, her talent finally receives the recognition it deserves, while Lily proves her own extraordinary abilities. As Hakim regrets losing his wife and daughter and tries to win them back, Elinda schemes to steal Carly’s throne. But Carly defeats every challenge, rises above her painful past, and achieves success, independence, and the respect she and her daughter deserve.
