Vanessa Peters is in for a surprise when she goes to sell her eggs to pay off her boyfriend's debt...and ends up pregnant due to a clinical error. She decides to keep the child after finding out her boyfriend is cheating on her, but begins to fear her decision when she finds out that the father is no other than Marcello Lavigne, a ruthless, murderous Mafia King. After saving her life from thugs who try to attack her for having mafia money, Marcello moves Vanessa to his mansion against her will. As he continuously proves his commitment to keeping her safe from criminals, bullies, and his mafia family, Vanessa begins to develop feelings for him despite his player behavior and his murderous capacity.
