Cara had been Dean's assistant and the woman he loved. At a party, they accidentally spent the night together. Later, Cara was pressured by her mother to ask Dean for money, which made him misunderstand that she had been trying to get close to him all along. When Cara became pregnant, Melina intentionally created difficulties, causing Dean to hate Cara even more. Ultimately, due to a falsified paternity test, Cara was cast out with her child.
