As the most skilled underground surgeon for the Chicago mafia, my life was a paradox. Five months pregnant and bound to the family, I was called on Christmas Eve for an emergency procedure. Through the operating room glass, I saw my husband, Julian, the Capo, desperate for another woman. He swore to marry his bleeding mistress, the mother of his illegitimate son, while kissing her hand with a devotion I thought was reserved for me. Returning home, I discovered my prenatal vitamins were laced with hormones meant to deform and kill my unborn child. The man who once took a bullet for me was poisoning our future. His family, complicit in his four-year affair, used me as a shield. My love turned to ash. I booked a termination, drafted annulment papers, and walked away to build my own empire.

Florist Scarlett’s world collapses when Alpha Kaelen Blackwell mistakes her for Fiona, his missing bride. Trapped in a gothic estate, she is coerced into marriage to help his ailing grandmother. While Blackwell's relatives scheme for his ruin, Scarlett navigates a lethal ultimatum. Despite her existing engagement, she is drawn to her captor. To endure the surrounding threats, she must finally expose her hidden identity as a legendary healer.

Ivy once thought Alexander was her entire world, but her devotion was met with cold indifference. After years of enduring a one-sided marriage where she was treated as a mere shadow, she finally chooses to walk away. Now, as she builds a life defined by her own terms, a desperate Alexander realizes the magnitude of his loss. He is determined to win her back, but Ivy is no longer the woman who lived for his approval.

Six years after an invader hijacked her body, Dorothy finally reclaims her physical form. However, her return brings no joy. Kyrie, the man who once loved her deeply, has fallen for the soul that possessed her. Now harboring a bitter hatred for Dorothy, Kyrie uses alcohol and a substitute to numb his grief while relentlessly tormenting her. Driven to despair by his demands to bring the invader back, Dorothy leaves behind a confession of her severe depression before plunging into the ocean right before his.

For seven years, I poured my soul into mastering healing herbs, recording every treatment protocol. But now, under the oppressive Luna Protocols, my knowledge is rendered useless. I am strictly forbidden from treating pack members without Archer's explicit consent—an approval he has cruelly withheld for months. As my wolf, Seraphine, whimpers in constant, aching silence, I am left completely helpless to save my dying mother while my mate chooses his mistress over our bond.
